Pastel Nagomi Art – Your Lucky Clover

About Simply Nagomi

Simply Nagomi is started by Advanced Instructors – Cindy and Irene, certified by Japan Pastel Hope Art Association (JPHAA). “Nagomi” in Japanese Kanji is “和” , meaning harmony. Through the use of simple and unique techniques, the focus of our workshop is to help our participants to discover their creativity and find harmony and relaxation through the process of creating their own beautiful art pieces.

Since our inception in 2017, we have worked with various organisations to bring pastel nagomi art to people from all walks of live, including office employees, volunteers, senior citizens, homemakers and children. The feedback from their experiences has been positive and encouraging.

About the workshop

The four leaf clover is one of the most common good luck symbols of the Western world. Each leaf of the clover symbolizes a piece of tradition: Faith, Hope, Love and Luck. Bring home this lucky symbol as our trainer teaches you the skills and technique to draw beautiful clover pieces in a calm and relaxing way using Pastel Nagomi Art techniques.

Pastel Nagomi Art is a form of healing art founded in Japan. Pastel powders are used and applied with the fingers to create a gentle, warm and heart-touching art through simple yet unique ways of painting techniques. The process of painting helps one to relax and calm the mind, increase self-awareness, reduce stress, and find one’s inner peace. Suitable for anyone aged 10 years and above. No prior art experience or background is required.
