About Rhu Creatives
Rhu began her art journey when she starts to illustrate her daily life with watercolour paintings accompanied by creative writings.
Rhu especially enjoys painting food because good food makes people happy! Savouring food with paint brushes is another form of food appreciation, and she aims to capture these joyous moments through watercolours.
Apart from creating her own creative pieces, Rhu offers workshops that help beginners to pick up useful watercolour painting skills through practising on carefully curated food illustrations.
The ultimate goal of these workshops is to help beginners to build confidence in watercolour by creating something beautiful and delicious.
About the workshop
The workshop will start with Rhu’s demo on how to paint delicious berries.
Students will then warm up with watercolour through the practice of berries painting before painting it on the strawberry shortcake sketch (sketch of the cake is provided).
Rhu will also teach the techniques to express the textures of cake.
At the end of the class, a frame will be given to each students to frame up their masterpiece!
